New wound therapy shows promise for diabetic foot ulcers

Summary

This study tested whether adding a special wound covering (BR-AC) to standard care helps diabetic foot ulcers heal faster. 71 adults with diabetes took part. The main goal was to see if more wounds closed completely within 12 weeks with the added treatment.
