NCT ID NCT07267988

First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding Brandt-Daroff exercises (simple head movements done at home) to the standard GANS maneuver can better reduce dizziness and improve quality of life in people with BPPV, a common inner-ear condition that causes brief spinning sensations. Researchers will enroll 30 adults aged 18-60 who have been diagnosed with BPPV. Participants will be split into two groups: one receiving only the GANS maneuver, and the other receiving both the GANS maneuver and Brandt-Daroff exercises three times a week for 40 minutes. Dizziness and quality of life will be measured before and after treatment using standard questionnaires.
