Surgery tube size tested to cut leak risk in weight loss patients
NCT ID NCT07230769
Summary
This study is testing if using a larger tube during gastric sleeve surgery leads to fewer dangerous stomach leaks after the operation. Researchers will compare a standard smaller tube to a larger one in 100 patients to see if the bigger tube reduces complications without making weight loss less effective. The goal is to find the safest and most effective surgical technique for this common weight loss procedure.
