First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting botulinum toxin (like Botox) into the lip after cleft lip surgery can make the scar smaller and less noticeable. About 32 people with a unilateral cleft lip will take part. Researchers will measure scar width and use a standard scar scale to see if the treatment helps.
