Could extra botox in jaw and temple ease unwanted facial twitching?

NCT ID NCT07295288

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

Facial synkinesis causes unwanted muscle movements after nerve injury. Standard Botox targets facial muscles, but patients often report jaw and temple injections help too. This study with 50 adults compares standard Botox alone versus standard plus jaw/temple Botox to see if the extra injections improve symptoms and quality of life.
