NCT ID NCT07109843
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at how Boswellia serrata, a herbal supplement used in Ayurvedic medicine, affects the way healthy people process pain. Researchers will use a capsaicin (chili pepper) cream to create temporary skin sensitivity and then measure pain responses. The goal is to understand the mechanisms behind its reported pain-relieving effects, not to treat any disease. 12 healthy adults will participate in this pilot trial.
