NCT ID NCT06698497
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether sharing local wastewater surveillance data about COVID-19 could encourage more people to get vaccinated. Researchers divided 40 New York counties into two groups: one received a communications campaign based on local wastewater data, the other did not. The goal was to see if this information increased vaccination rates, especially in communities with lower uptake.
