Tailored titanium meshes rebuild jawbone for dental implants

Summary
This study tested whether custom-made titanium meshes could help rebuild lost jawbone in 15 people who needed dental implants. The meshes were designed using 3D imaging and computer modeling to fit each person's defect. Results measured how much new bone grew and how often the mesh became exposed.
