New study aims to stop fractures in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT01428895
Summary
This study follows people with cancer that has spread to their thigh bone and is at high risk of breaking. It compares two treatment approaches: surgery (sometimes with follow-up radiation) or radiation therapy alone. The goal is to see which approach better helps patients walk, reduces pain, and improves their quality of life over six months.
