New hope: bone marrow transplant study targets HIV and blood cancer

Summary

This study is for people living with HIV who also have a blood cancer that needs a bone marrow transplant. Researchers are testing a new combination of drugs to prevent a serious side effect called graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) after the transplant. The goal is to make the transplant safer and more effective. Participants will receive a half-matched donor transplant and take the study drugs for several months.
