Screw count showdown: does one less screw save jawbone?

NCT ID NCT07360015

First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using 3 screws instead of 4 to attach a full lower-jaw dental bridge affects bone loss around the implants. Fourteen men with no teeth in their lower jaw and no major health issues are being followed with X-rays over time. The goal is to see if fewer screws can still keep the bone healthy.
