New supplement blend aims to fortify bones in breast cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07256769
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific blend of vitamin K, a milk protein (α-lactalbumin), and a sugar-like compound (D-chiro-inositol) can help protect bone health. It is for women with breast cancer who are taking hormone-blocking medications, which can weaken bones. Researchers want to see if this supplement helps the body use calcium and vitamin D more effectively than standard supplements alone.
