Scientists test new bone mix for stronger dental implants
NCT ID NCT07367464
Summary
This study aims to see if a mixture of cow bone and donor human bone works as well as a mixture of cow bone and the patient's own bone for rebuilding the upper jaw before placing dental implants. Researchers will compare how much new bone grows and its quality in 32 patients with thin jawbones. The goal is to find a reliable method to create enough strong bone to support implants without needing to harvest as much bone from the patient.
