Study tests donor bone vs. Patient's own bone for dental implant foundation
NCT ID NCT07367464
Summary
This study aims to see if a mixture of cow bone and donor human bone works as well as a mixture of cow bone and the patient's own bone for rebuilding thin upper jawbone. The goal is to create enough strong bone to support dental implants. Researchers will compare the two methods in 32 patients by measuring bone growth on scans and examining tiny bone samples after 6 months.
