NCT ID NCT06472453

First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests two types of bone graft materials placed in the tooth socket right after extraction to see which better preserves jawbone for future dental implants. About 24 adults needing a tooth pulled and later replaced with an implant will be randomly assigned to receive either a mix of human and animal bone graft or human bone graft alone. Participants will have exams, X-rays, and follow-ups over about 2 years.
