New supplement aims to speed up broken bone recovery
NCT ID NCT07299851
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week course of an oral supplement containing cetylated fatty acids can help bones heal better and faster after a leg fracture. Researchers will enroll 100 adults who have recently had surgery to stabilize a broken femur or tibia. Participants will take either the supplement or a placebo, and healing will be tracked using X-rays, ultrasounds, and pain and function questionnaires.
