Can a daily supplement speed up broken bone recovery?
NCT ID NCT07299851
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week course of an oral supplement containing cetylated fatty acids can help bones heal better and faster after a leg fracture. It will involve 100 adults who have had surgery to stabilize a broken femur or tibia. Researchers will compare the supplement to a placebo, using X-rays, ultrasounds, and pain questionnaires to see if it improves healing and reduces discomfort.
