Scientists peer inside bones with new ultrasound tech
NCT ID NCT06206031
Summary
This study tested a new ultrasound method to see if it can measure blood flow inside bones. Researchers enrolled 30 healthy male volunteers to see how blood flow in the shin bone changes during simple physical tests, like squeezing a hand or having a blood pressure cuff inflated. The goal is to better understand bone health and prepare this tool for future research, including studies on astronauts in space.
