New study: simple posture fixes may ease breastfeeding pain

Summary

This study tests whether training on posture, breastfeeding positions, and muscle strengthening can reduce shoulder and back pain in breastfeeding mothers. About 94 new mothers who gave birth vaginally will be randomly assigned to receive the training or standard care. Pain and ergonomic risk are measured at hospital discharge, 6 weeks, and 3 months after birth.
