First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at how a person's body composition, especially their fat-free mass, influences the side effects of chemotherapy in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Researchers will measure body composition and track side effects in 132 patients receiving carboplatin and paclitaxel. The goal is to see if adjusting the chemo dose based on fat-free mass could reduce toxicity.
