Summary
This pilot study tested whether adding methylene blue to usual care is feasible for adults in the ICU with septic shock. The trial enrolled 50 patients and measured recruitment, consent, and treatment adherence. It was designed to see if a larger trial is possible, not to prove the treatment works.
