First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of blue-light photodynamic therapy and the drug sonidegib for people with multiple basal cell carcinomas (a common skin cancer). The goal is to kill cancer cells using light and a skin cream, avoiding the scarring caused by standard freezing or surgery. About 20 adults with at least 3 skin lesions will participate in this early-phase trial to check safety and how well the treatment works.
