First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study is for people with multiple basal cell carcinoma (a common skin cancer) lesions. It tests a combination of a light-based treatment (blue-light photodynamic therapy) and a pill (sonidegib) to kill cancer cells while avoiding scarring from standard treatments like surgery or freezing. About 20 adults with at least 3 lesions will join this early-phase trial to see if the combo works and is safe.
