First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early-phase study tests a combination of blue-light photodynamic therapy (a light treatment that kills cancer cells) and the drug sonidegib for people with multiple basal cell carcinomas. The goal is to see if this approach can effectively treat the cancers while avoiding the scarring caused by standard freezing or surgery. About 20 adults with at least 3 skin lesions will participate.
