Summary

This study looked at blood type genes in 95 healthy Ethiopian adults from three different regions. The goal was to understand genetic differences that can affect blood transfusions. By learning more about these unique blood markers, doctors hope to find better donor matches for Ethiopian-American patients and others with similar backgrounds.
