Blood clues: simple tests may forecast myeloma survival
NCT ID NCT06095752
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at whether certain blood test results (blood thickness, protein ratios, and red blood cell size variation) can help predict how well people with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma will do over the next year. Researchers followed 48 patients to see if these simple measurements could forecast survival. The goal was to find easy, low-cost ways to understand the disease better, not to test a new treatment.
