Blood test could spare women unnecessary radiation after cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT07339384
Summary
This study aims to see if a blood test that looks for tiny bits of cancer DNA can help doctors decide which patients need radiation after surgery. It will compare outcomes for over 1,000 women with early-stage endometrial cancer who are monitored with the blood test versus those who receive standard radiation. The goal is to learn if the test can safely identify patients who can avoid radiation without increasing their risk of the cancer coming back.
