Blood test could spare women unnecessary radiation after cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07339384

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test that looks for tiny pieces of cancer DNA can help doctors decide which patients need extra radiation treatment after surgery. It will compare outcomes for women who are monitored with the blood test against those who receive standard radiation. The goal is to see if using the blood test can safely reduce treatment for some patients without increasing the risk of the cancer coming back.
