Blood test may replace scans for lymphoma relapse detection

NCT ID NCT02633111

First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple blood test can find signs that aggressive B-cell Non-Hodgkin lymphoma has returned after chemotherapy, possibly earlier than CT scans. About 501 adults who have finished initial treatment will give blood samples to check for minimal residual disease (MRD). The goal is to see if this test could one day replace routine scans for monitoring.
