Community health workers aim to help refugees control blood pressure

NCT ID NCT07398391

Summary

This study is testing whether extra support from community health workers can help refugees with high blood pressure take their medications more consistently and better control their condition. Researchers will compare 250 participants who receive this special support program to those who get standard care plus a home blood pressure monitor. The goal is to see if personalized education and coaching leads to better medication habits and healthier blood pressure levels over six months.
