Community health workers aim to help refugees control blood pressure

Summary

This study is testing whether extra support from community health workers helps refugees with high blood pressure take their medication more consistently and better control their blood pressure. Researchers will compare 250 participants who receive this special support to those who get standard care plus a home blood pressure monitor. The goal is to see if personalized coaching and education leads to better long-term health management.
