Scientists probe Hormone's role in dangerous dialysis blood pressure swings
NCT ID NCT07438925
Summary
This study aims to understand if a hormone called vasopressin is linked to blood pressure changes that happen during kidney dialysis. Researchers will look at blood samples and blood pressure records from 71 adults on long-term dialysis. The goal is to gather knowledge about how the body regulates fluids and blood pressure during this treatment, which may help guide future care.
