Race against time: which drug lowers stroke Patients' blood pressure faster?
NCT ID NCT07277283
Summary
This study compared two common blood pressure medications—nicardipine and labetalol—to see which works faster for stroke patients who need their blood pressure lowered quickly before receiving clot-busting treatment. Researchers measured how long it took each drug to reach the target blood pressure in 34 stroke patients. They also looked at whether one drug led to better short-term recovery or fewer side effects.
