Searching for clues: why childbirth headache treatment sometimes leads to Long-Term pain

Summary
This study aims to understand why some women develop chronic headaches after receiving a 'blood patch' treatment for a severe spinal headache caused by an accidental puncture during epidural placement for childbirth. Researchers will follow 98 women for 6 months after their treatment, collecting details about the original procedure, the blood patch itself, and the patients' recovery. The goal is to identify factors linked to developing long-term headaches to improve future care.
