New study aims to unravel mysteries of pulmonary hypertension with unique blood sampling

Summary
This study involves 100 people with suspected pulmonary hypertension who are already scheduled for a right heart catheterization. During the procedure, doctors will take two small blood samples from a specific position in the lung artery to analyze oxygen and other gas levels. The goal is to learn more about different types of pulmonary hypertension, which may help develop better treatments in the future. Participants will also have their health followed for up to 5 years.
