Heart failure clue found in blood gas during pacemaker procedure
NCT ID NCT07436377
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at 65 adults with heart failure who are getting a special pacemaker called CRT. During the procedure, doctors take a blood sample from a vein near the heart to measure oxygen and other gases. The goal is to see if these blood gas levels can help predict which patients will feel better and have fewer hospital visits. This is an observational study, not a treatment, so it aims to improve future patient selection.
