Blood flow training may boost knee recovery after meniscus surgery

NCT ID NCT04436523

First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at whether blood flow restriction training (using a cuff to limit blood flow during exercise) helps people regain knee strength and muscle size after meniscus repair surgery. About 15 participants were planned, comparing this method to standard rehab. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
