Tight thigh cuffs tested to help Parkinson's patients walk and balance better
NCT ID NCT06508801
Summary
This study is testing whether wearing tight cuffs on the thighs during balance-challenging leg exercises can help improve symptoms for people with Parkinson's disease. Twenty participants will perform these exercises, with half using the cuffs to mildly restrict blood flow. Researchers want to see if this approach is safe and can improve walking, balance, leg strength, and quality of life.
