Summary
This study is testing a medical device designed to physically remove dangerous blood clots from the lungs of patients with a sudden, severe pulmonary embolism. Doctors will insert a tube into a vein to reach the clot and use suction to pull it out. Researchers will track if this procedure is safe, helps the heart recover, and improves patients' breathing and quality of life over the following year.
