New drug tested to stop deadly clots after knee operations
NCT ID NCT07140523
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called SRSD107 works as well as the standard medication (enoxaparin) at preventing dangerous blood clots after knee replacement surgery. About 450 adults aged 60-80 having elective knee surgery will participate. Researchers will compare three different doses of the new drug to see which is most effective and safe at preventing clots.
