Laser device could spot hidden blood clots before they cause harm
NCT ID NCT05301348
Summary
This study is testing a new laser-based device called PAFC that aims to detect dangerous circulating blood clots in real time. Researchers will enroll 30 adults who have been diagnosed with blood clots or are at high risk for them. The goal is to see if this new method can find clots that current tests might miss, potentially helping doctors prevent serious complications.
