Summary
This study aims to understand how alcohol affects immune cells and energy production in the body. Researchers will collect a blood sample from 30 participants—healthy controls, heavy drinkers, and people with alcoholic hepatitis—to compare their immune responses and cell function. The goal is to learn more about why some heavy drinkers develop liver inflammation while others do not.
