Dental implant bleeding study seeks to predict bone loss

NCT ID NCT06033859

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study follows 164 adults with dental implants to see if bleeding during checkups can predict implant disease. Over 15 months, participants attend 6 visits where dentists measure bleeding and bone loss. The goal is to understand how often bleeding leads to worsening implant health, not to test a new treatment.
