First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study follows 150 adults with dental implants to see if bleeding when the gum is probed can predict worsening implant disease. Participants attend check-ups every 3 months for 15 months. The goal is to understand the link between bleeding patterns and bone loss around implants, not to test a new treatment.
