Simple urine test could replace scopes for bladder cancer detection

Summary
This study is testing a new urine test called Bladder EpiCheck to see how well it finds bladder cancer in people aged 45 and older who have blood in their urine. About 800 participants will provide a urine sample and then undergo standard cystoscopy (a camera exam of the bladder) to compare results. The goal is to see if the urine test is accurate enough to potentially replace or reduce the need for invasive cystoscopy in the future.
