NCT ID NCT06357546

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests if women having a planned C-section can safely skip the usual bladder tube. 550 pregnant women will be randomly assigned to either get the tube or not. The goal is to see if skipping it reduces discomfort without increasing the need for a tube later due to urine retention.
