New urine test could spare thousands from unnecessary bladder scopes
NCT ID NCT07307300
Summary
This study aims to see how well a new urine test can help doctors figure out which patients with hidden blood in their urine are at higher risk for bladder cancer. Researchers will test the urine of about 1,500 adults over 40 and follow them for six months. The goal is to create a better system so doctors can avoid unnecessary invasive tests for patients at low risk.
