Tiny particles pack chemo punch for tough bladder cancer
NCT ID NCT05519241
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new drug called PPM, which are tiny particles that carry chemotherapy directly to bladder cancer cells. The study is for people with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer that did not get better with the standard BCG treatment. Up to 29 participants will receive the drug through a catheter into the bladder. The main goals are to find the safest dose and check for side effects, while also seeing if the drug can shrink or eliminate the cancer.
