Heart drug joins fight against tough bladder cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether adding a common blood pressure medication (propranolol) to a standard pre-surgery treatment can improve outcomes for bladder cancer that has spread to lymph nodes. Twelve patients will receive the drug combination before having surgery to remove their cancer. The main goal is to check if this new combination is safe, while also seeing if it helps eliminate more cancer before surgery.
