Mayo clinic tests needle biopsy to pinpoint bladder cancer severity

NCT ID NCT07029256

Summary

This study is testing a new biopsy technique to improve how doctors determine the stage of bladder cancer before surgery. Researchers will use ultrasound to guide a needle to take a tissue sample from the bladder tumor. They will compare the results from this new method to the final analysis of the surgically removed bladder to see if it accurately predicts the cancer's severity.
