Bladder cancer trial tests if radiation can spare patients major surgery

Summary
This study aims to find out if a combination of radiation and chemotherapy works as well as complete bladder removal surgery for treating muscle-invasive bladder cancer. It will enroll 336 adults with this type of cancer to see which approach better prevents the cancer from spreading. The goal is to determine if patients can avoid major surgery and keep their bladder without compromising their long-term health.
